IN MILCHBERG, THE PAST DOESN'T STAY BURIED.

1981. A flood unearths more than a car.

By Our Staff Correspondent · Milchberg, Miss.

The official trailer. Milchberg, 1981.

✦

Dr. Roberta Fields came to Milchberg looking for a quieter life after her teenage brother was killed as an innocent bystander. She arrived just as the town's first murder — and an impossible second death — began tearing it apart. Sheriff Hank Oates is certain the killer is Andy Boyd. But Roberta and the widower doctor Joseph Biagio find something the sheriff refuses to see: a wound that wasn't made by any man. Beneath the town's heat, pride, and silence, two monsters are operating — one that drains blood, and one that drains the truth.
